Dear glasses: stop making me wish shooting myself in the head was a reasonable way to make the pain stop.

Two or three days with the new ones, I'm told, and if I still see distortion around the edges of my glasses-assisted field of vision and if my head is still killing me, go back to the eye doctor. That's Monday and Tuesday and maybe Wednesday, all of which are work days, which means driving days as well as sit ass in chair and type for money days. I do not know if I can handle working through this sort of headache.

Part of the problem, I'm sure, is that my new glasses don't sit cockeyed on my head. The old ones were made for a head with ear-to-ear line parallel to eye-to-eye line, and one of my ears is above the other. The new ones take that into account, so that my lenses sit over my eyes like they're supposed to. So I'm seeing through different parts of the lenses than I'm used to. But they're right now, they should be fine, right?

Two or three more days. I've got more than seven days of sick leave if I need it, but I hope I'm better by noonish so I don't have to use it.

Oof. I hope your glasses stop hurting your eyes soon.

If you're looking through different parts of the lens than usual, could they have misaligned the lens centers? I've had that happen and owwww.

Maybe, but more likely is I'm just used to looking through the wrong bit of the lens and I no longer am. Yesterday was much better than Sunday, today is better than yesterday.
