Things my brain is absolutely not allowed to do to me: insist I write a story involving a character I know of only through spoilers for episodes I have not yet seen.

The idea is basically that Metatron was an archangel who died millennia ago, which is somebody's speculation and also correctly spelled words fuck you Firefox, who wrote all the Word of God tablets and then fell like Anna and subsequently died, and was reborn and lived and died, and was reborn and lived and died...dunno if that last is exclusive to fallen angels. Suspect so, because of the sheer quantity of people today vs centuries ago, reincarnation just doesn't math, or canon (see Titanic ep), but not sure.

Which explains part of why the other archangels are fucked up. They already lost a sibling, and they were younger then.

(The reborn part wouldn't have pinged their consciousness. The born in the first place part might not have. Anna escaped attention until someone got wind she'd told her therapist about hearing angels.)
