No, no, this is a bad thing.

The equality should have been extended in the opposite direction, to ban ALL US troops from serving in combat roles.

No US standing army would be a marvelous thing, I agree. Since it's here and there's probably no getting rid of it, it needs to be equal-opportunity.

What I find most interesting in that video is the CJCS twiddling his thumbs, squirming, and occasionally casting side looks at whatever the SECDEF is reading from.
