Harry Potter sedoretu fic.

That would be the logical extension -- sadly, I can't see a functional sedoretu in the Harry's parents' generations (partly because we know almost no women other than Lily there).

The reason I don't want to mention this to Anne is, as mentioned downthread, if she weren't so opposed to homosexuality and polyamory, she'd already be writing one with Sirius and Remus. It involves OFCs, but still.

Sticking with canon characters, I think James, Lily, Sirius, and Remus would have potential (there's even precedent, as I remember reading a Le Guin story where three of the four in a marriage were women), but I don't think the dynamics would allow it. It's not, after all, till after James and Lily died that anyone had an inkling that Peter wasn't to be trusted, and in the months immediately before that, it was Remus who wasn't trusted.

I think it's workable that you'd have a James/Lily/Sirius/Remus sedoretu in that universe - after all, James is going to marry Sirius one way or another, and Remus goes where Sirius goes - and that gives you a reason for Peter to feel excluded/unwanted enough to be targeted by Voldemort, and meanwhile it gives you delicious, delicious angst as Remus's sedoretu stops trusting him!

She's a Harry Potter fanauthor and a friend of mine. We do not discuss homosexuality or polyamory, because these are very important issues to us both and we disagree.
