So is anybody else creeped out by the way Time and the NYT and so forth are leaping to spread the news that fetal environment dramatically impacts later life? I have no reason to believe it's false, mind, and efforts to get women healthy for the benefit of their babies wouldn't exactly hurt the women, but I'm having visions of ever-increasing restrictions on what pregnant and potentially-pregnant women can do for fear they do anything the least bit potentially harmful to the baby.
